As were nearing the end of Anson Street one of the last few homes were going to stop at is the Daniel Legare/Mortimer Home. Today were going to talk about one of the oldest Colonial Suburb homes of Ansonborough neighborhood. And were going to talk about what these two families did to the home to improve it.

And were off to the Joseph Legare House at 75 Anson Street, were going to talk about the many people who owned this house and the different stages this home went threw as it was passed down from owner to owner.

Were going to stop here at 74 Anson Street the home of Michael Foucaut House and touch on how his home and 3 others were moved and rehomed to Anson Street to make way for the Gaillard Municipal Auditorium.

Today were stopping at 71 Anson Street to talk about Thomas Doughty house and his unusual T shaped floor plan allows and how he and his wife Mary Legare get to sit outside on their gabled pavilion to look at the beautiful gardens. Then after that well be off to 72 Anson to look at the Kohne-Leslie House and all the important people who lived in this home and what they did for old Charleston.

Lets stop here at the St. Stephens Episcopal Church. Well talk about the Ladies Benevolent Association of Charleston and what these ladies did for the church. Well also talk about how this free church helped the people in Charleston.
